Manila. Es werden mehr Kapazitäten für die Durchführung der Coronaquarantäne benötigt. Die bisherigen Standorte, das World Trade Center und das Philippine International Convention Center haben kaum noch freie Plätze. Deshalb sollen jetzt zusätzlich sechs Hotels zu Quarantänecentern umgewandelt werden, so das philippinische Gesundheitsministerium.

Jetzt lehnen einige Hotels die Aufnahme von gestrandeten OFW's ab. Grund, die Rechnungen sind von der Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) nicht bezahlt worden.
