Januar: Inflation 2,9 %

Die philippinische Statistikbehörde gab bekannt, dass die dortige Inflation im Januar 2,9 % betrug. Damit ergibt sich keine Änderung gegenüber dem Dezember. Nahrungsmittel, Transport, Alkoholika und Tabak sind teurer geworden.

In folgenden Bereichen sank dagegen die Teuerungsrate, sodass sie im Durchschnitt gleich blieb:

The PSA noted that there were lower inflation in the following: 

• Clothing and footwear (2.3% from 2.4%) 
  
• Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels (2.2% from 2.9%)
  
• Furnishings, household equipment and routine household maintenance, (2.6% from 2.7%)
  
• Recreation, sport and culture (2.4% from 2.5%) 
  
• Education services (4.2% from 4.3%) 
  
• Restaurants and accommodation services (3.2% from 3.8%) 
  
• Personal care, and miscellaneous goods and services (2.8% from 2.9%)
